Vertex is a quilt pattern designed by Stephanie Soebbing of Quilt Addicts Anonymous using Plaster of Paris designed for Frond Design Studios by Stephanie Brandenburg. Frond Design Studios is the official provider of kits for the project.
The Vertex pattern is designed to be taught as part of a course to master five different types of triangle blocks: half square triangles, double pinwheels, quarter square triangles, flying geese and square-in-a-square.
The kit and pattern are available exclusively to participants of the Sewtravelry Transatlantic Quilt Cruise May 2-13. The pattern will be provided directly to passengers from Stephanie Soebbing.
Starting June 1, 2024 the pattern and kit will be made available to all quilters as part of a Quilt Addicts Anonymous Sew Along.
The kit contains fabric for the top, binding and backing fabric. You may choose between a pearl and obsidian Plaster of Paris background. Vertex measures 44" square and is available in one size.
